About ME

My name is April Dawn Palozie (Puh-low-zee), but my nickname is Pozie.

Raised by a hippie in St. Petersburg, FL, I traded in the beautiful beaches and palm trees for a glamorous career in the Big Apple. I welcomed palm trees back into my life moving to Los Angeles in 2023.

I bring 13+ years of professional NYC and LA work experience to the table, working for some of the biggest beauty, CPG, fashion, luxury, lifestyle, consumer tech, and food & drink brands with a focus in trend research, consultancy, consumer strategy, brand strategy, marketing strategy, product strategy, merchandising, communications planning, media planning, business development and sales.

I have a critical eye for emerging culture, lifestyle, trend, style and design. To hone these skill sets further, I graduated with my second degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in May 2018.

I’ve also been lucky enough to groom and share my talents with the team at WGSN working in marketing consultancy, trend forecasting and sales from 2020-2024.

Leveraging my thought leadership and expertise, I also do freelance consumer, brand, marketing, product, sales strategy via my consultancy agency BRAINCHILD.
